A significant portion of BLIK’s transactions, 921 million to be precise, were made in the e-commerce sector, indicating that every second BLIK transaction occurs online. This trend reflects the growing consumer preference for digital shopping solutions and BLIK’s effectiveness in catering to this demand.
Rapid Growth in BLIK Phone Transfers
BLIK phone transfers experienced the most dynamic growth among the service’s offerings, with more than 415 million transactions—a 71% increase compared to the previous year. This service, allowing users to transfer money using just a phone number, has become increasingly popular, showcasing BLIK’s ability to innovate and meet user needs.
Widespread Use and Recognition
By the end of 2023, BLIK boasted 15.8 million active users, evidencing its widespread acceptance and integral role in many Poles’ daily transactions. The system’s growth and user base solidifies its position as a key player in Poland’s payment market.
