Naratix, a Romanian startup, is becoming a driving force in e-commerce efficiency with its creation of five AI-based robots. Named Nara, Dynamo, Gina, Grant, and Julie, the robots are designed to play roles ranging from brand managers and sales agents to data engineers and influencers. By the end of this year, they’ll be working in over 2,500 online stores, helping brands tap into the kind of giants like Amazon and AliExpress use to dominate the market.

A Rundown of the Robots

Developed with an investment of €350,000 and about 12 months of intense work, these AI companions are set to revolutionize e-commerce brands’ operations. They promise up to 60% reductions in return rates and a 30% increase in average order value.

Cristian Orășanu, co-founder of Naratix and noted member of Forbes 30 under 30, sheds light on the journey:

The idea for Naratix and our robots came alive during the pandemic as we led digitization projects for big brands. We saw firsthand the challenges and costs tied to e-commerce product documentation. AI in e-commerce is like the steam engine of the digital age. It's changing the game completely, letting brands scale like never before.

This ambitious project isn’t just about robots doing the heavy lifting. It’s about empowering brands with the tools to grow, scale, and connect with customers in ways previously thought impossible.

Given the project’s status, it’s not surprising that Naratix is not just looking at the Romanian market. They’re setting their sights on international expansion, with a keen eye on partnerships and possibly opening doors to venture capital to fuel their growth.
